Honestly, if you’ve found this blog, it’s because you’ve known me, or at least know of me, at some point since 1974.

Now, onto the obvious question: Why this blog?

Well, that’s an easy one. Over the course of the last two decades, I’ve slowly realized that the social media landscape has become nothing more than a self-obsessed, narcissistic hunt for clicks and likes, followers and so on.

And so, I opted to own up and claim my own name on the interwebs, by creating Dommessier.com, where you can read, interact and enjoy what goes on in my noggin, while also saving me a bundle in therapy bills, by allowing myself to be open to the public, in a manner of speaking.

Will this be interesting? It depends who you ask. Will it be insightful and filled with ideas as to what you should look into, ponder on or choose from? Perhaps.

I’m not one to be pushy. I’m an open minded fellow, unless it comes to new food types, which my wife Naomi will tell you is a work in progress.

Here, you’ll find regular postings and thoughts on anything I find to be of interest, be it movies, TV, books, games, food, music, art, venues and so on.

It’s a work in progress. I mean, aren’t we all?
